New Lawsuit Says Takeda Deliberately Concealed Evidence of Actos Side Effects
An FDA warning about Actos bladder cancer, numerous studies showing the risk of Actos side effects, a growing number of Actos lawsuits, and a French Actos recall have not persuaded manufacturer Takeda to suspend sales of the drug in the U.S. Now a lawsuit charges that the company deliberately concealed evidence to protect its sales. The plaintiff, Fernando Olavarria, developed bladder cancer after taking Actos for more than 10 years.
