FDA Rejects New Diabetes Drug That Contains Actos
A new diabetes drug from Takeda Pharmaceuticals will not reach the market, thanks to a recent FDA ruling. The FDA ordered Takeda, manufacturer of the controversial diabetes drug Actos, to provide data showing that the new drug was received positively in foreign markets where it was already approved. Thousands of patients who took Actos have filed an Actos lawsuit against Takeda. The drug may cause Actos bladder cancer, say Actos lawyer representatives on behalf of their clients. Actos was pulled from some foreign markets by concerned regulators.
